RBA Raises AUD Benchmark Rate

The Reserve Bank of Australia’s monetary policy board voted in a split 8-1 decision to raise the benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 4.35 percent.

Australia's central bank today voted to raise AUD benchmark rate by 25 basis points to 4.35 percent.

Australia's big four banks have all followed suite to lift interest rates following the RBA's decision to increase the national interest rate to 4.35 percent.
