The recession is over, Australia’s economy rebounded with GDP up 3.3% in the quarter
Australia's economy rebounded in the third quarter, data out today showed the economy expanded by 3.3% in the September quarter, reversing a 7% contraction in June quarter, led by consumer spending growth, which rose 7.9% in quarter, driven by massive fiscal and monetary stimulus since March.
Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said the results were cause for "optimism and hope".
