Industrial Output Retreated in Japan in Oct, Job Rate Unchanged

Japan's industrial output in October fell 4.2% from the previous month, government data by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry showed today.

Based on a poll of manufacturers, the ministry expects output to drop 1.5% in November and rise 1.1% in December.

Jobless rate was unchanged at 2.4% in the month, government data revealed on the same day.
