Thailand Developer to Make Vietnam Debut

Thailand developer Dusit International will be making its Vietnam debut this month with the opening of Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort on the country’s largest island, Phu Quoc.

Located in the South of Vietnam in the Gulf of Thailand, Phu Quoc is a fast-growing tourist destination known for its long, sweeping beaches, rich coral reefs, fresh seafood, pearl farms, and dense, tropical rainforest, according to Dusit.

Operating under Dusit’s upper midscale Dusit Princess brand, the new four-star resort is centrally located on the island’s west coast overlooking the Bai Truong beach, a 20-plus kilometre stretch of sand also known as Long Beach. Phu Quoc (PQC) International Airport and Duong To town centre are only a short drive away.

Designed to blend Dusit’s unique Thai heritage with Vietnamese culture and local traditions, the family-friendly resort comprises 108 well-appointed contemporary guest rooms (ranging from 32 sq m Deluxe Rooms to 90 sq m Suites), most of which offer pristine ocean views.
