[October  - 1 - 2017]  John Lim, Group Chief Executive Officer of ARA Asset Management Limited, has been elected to the chairman of Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA). APREA is a non-profit industry association that represents and promotes the real estate asset class in the Asia Pacific region.

[April  - 18 - 2017] Mr. Khoo Teng Chye, Executive Director for the Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC), Singapore, has been appointed Chairman of Singapore for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) 

[April  - 6 - 2017] Property Agency Colliers International announced it has appointed James Hall as Managing Director for International Properties, Asia, to lead the International Properties team in Asia 

[March - 13 - 2017] HSBC announced it appointed Mark Tucker as a director and Group Chairman Designate from 1 September 2017. Tucker will take over as nonexecutive Group Chairman on 1 October, the bank said in a statement

[March - 8 - 2017] Citi appointed David Russell as Head of Markets and Securities Services for Hong Kong. Russell will report to Patrick Dewilde, Head of Asia Pacific Markets and Securities Services and Weber Lo, Citi Country Officer & Chief Executive Officer for Citi Hong Kong and Macau in this role. Citi said Russell will take up this role in addition to his current position as Asia Pacific Head of Securities Services

[January - 9 -2017] Property Agency  Jones Lang Lasalle(JLL) confirmed to Ramesh Nair as CEO and Country Head of JLL India, to succeed Anuj Puri, Chairman and Country Head.  Mr.Puri will leave on 28 February 2017 and Mr Nair assumes his new role on 1 March 2017. He will report to JLL Asia Pacific CEO Anthony Couse.

[January -18 -2017]  Standard Chartered Bank said it appointed Mary Huen, currently Regional Head of Retail Banking, Greater China and North Asia, as Chief Executive Officer for Hong Kong, effective from 1 March 2017, succeeding May Tan who is retiring
