AIIB Approves Loans to China

China-led AIIB ( Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank), funded with funding from 21 countries including India, Russia, Germany and South Korea, announced on Monday that it has approved a USD250m loan to help Beijing change its coal fires to reduce air pollution effects during the winter season.
The money will go to a natural gas transmission pipe network project, which is expected to cover 510 villages around China's capital city, according to the bank.
