China's consumer price index (CPI), rose by 4.5% year on year in November, the National Bureau of Statistics reported on Tuesday. Food prices climbed by 19.1% year on year, while non-food prices rose by 1.0%.
By breakdown, pork price went up by 110.2% in the month on year, the price of fruits dropped by 6.8% in the month while that of vegetables increased by 3.9%, according to the bureau. On month-to-mnth basis, the CPI went up by 0.4% from last month, the NBS said.
